Efficient Standardized: 20GP Container Glass Loading Process

A batch of our glass products has been loaded into 20GP containers for overseas shipment. As fragile goods, standardized loading is critical for safe transport, and our process ensures reliable cross-border delivery.

The on-site supervisor noted three core steps: Preprocessing, Precise Placement, and Reinforcement & Protection. Preprocessing involves cleaning/drying the container, checking integrity, laying moisture-proof and shock-absorbing pads. Glass is sorted, wrapped with custom foam corners and waterproof dust covers for basic protection.

For precise placement, forklifts and suction cup spreaders move glass vertically into containers, with layered stacking and high-density plywood partitions to prevent scratches. Loading height/weight are controlled, and ventilation gaps reserved to avoid temperature-induced condensation.

Reinforcement uses wooden struts (horizontal) and steel wire ropes (vertical) to prevent displacement, with shock-absorbing pads at contact points. Post-loading checks, door closing and "Fragile" labels complete the process.

The logistics manager said the process keeps glass transport damage extremely low, winning overseas customer recognition. The company will further optimize the system for more reliable cross-border glass delivery.
